Position overview
Warehouse Operations Supervisor will be a working leader of warehouse operations that oversees and ensures efficient daily operations within the warehouse to ensure customer orders and shipping lead times are achieved. This role serves as a team member in cross functional teams of internal stakeholders by participating in the coordination of Logistics, & Safety within the facility; and serves as an active team member in developing and implementing process and productivity improvement within the facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service

Position Overview
The Heavy-Duty Diesel Truck Mechanic – Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, performing advanced diagnostics and repairs on Class 7–8 trucks and related fleet equipment, and providing leadership to the maintenance team. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high‑quality repair workflows while maintaining exceptional uptime for fleet operations.
- First Shift Lead Technician (Tues-Fri 10:00-18:30, Sat 07:00-15:30)
- Second Shift Lead Technician ( Currently M-F 11:00-19:30, will be 14:30-23:00 after training)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leadership & Supervision
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of technicians in a fast‑paced shop environment.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily work orders to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality
completion.
• Provide on-the-job training, technical guidance, and performance feedback to team
members.
• Support onboarding of new technicians, including safety training and tool/equipment
orientation.
Diagnostics & Repair
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines,
emissions systems, aftertreatment systems, transmissions, drivetrains, suspensions, brakes,
electrical systems, and HVAC.
• Use diagnostic software such as Cummins Insite, Detroit DiagnosticLink, Bendix ACom,
WABCO, Tech Tool, DAVIE4 and OEM platforms.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure all equipment meets regulatory compliance.
• Oversee complex repairs and assist technicians with escalated technical issues.
Shop Operations
• Maintain safe shop practices and enforce proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout, and
standardized procedures.
• Ensure shop cleanliness, organization, and efficient layout for workflow.
• Monitor inventory levels for parts, fluids, and shop supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
• Review and close work orders to ensure accuracy in parts usage, labor time, and
documentation.
Fleet & Equipment Management
• Assist with scheduling preventive maintenance (PM) intervals to maximize fleet uptime.
• Support root-cause analysis for recurring failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate repair statuses, equipment needs, and downtime impacts with fleet
maintenance leadership and external customers.
• Participate in warranty recovery and vendor coordination as needed.
Administrative Responsibilities
• Document all maintenance activities accurately in the fleet management system (e.g.,
Fleetrock, TMT, or similar).
• Monitor technician productivity and job performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and OSHA standards.
• Assist in preparing reports related to shop KPIs, equipment conditions, and operational
improvements.
Skills and Requirements
Required
• 5+ years of experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic (Class 7–8).
• Advanced knowledge of diesel engines, air systems, electrical diagnostics, and aftertreatment
systems.
• Experience leading a team or acting as a senior/lead technician.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with OEM diagnostic software.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks in a shop environment.
Preferred
• CDL Class A or B.
• ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certifications (T2, T4, T5, T6, T7, or L2).

Position Overview
UC Group is actively seeking experienced and driven Owner Operators who are looking to maximize their earnings and gain more control over their schedule. If you’re committed to delivering great service and ready to be treated as a true partner, not just a number, this opportunity is designed for you.
We offer consistent freight, competitive pay, and the freedom to choose the lanes that work best for your lifestyle. Whether you're home weekly or running OTR, you'll work closely with a Division Leader to establish your revenue goals and build a plan to meet them.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Owner Operator with UC Group, you’ll:
- Run under our authority and dispatch
- Choose your own lanes and home time preferences
- Collaborate with your Division Leader to set personalized weekly revenue targets
- Maintain your equipment to pass a UC Group DOT inspection
- Partner with bilingual dispatchers (English, Spanish, Russian, Lithuanian) for seamless communication

Benefits
- Pay: 75% of gross revenue
- Weekly Gross Potential: $5,600 to $7,200+ depending on home time, location, and flexibility
- Fuel Discount: $.15 CPG fuel discount
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 (paid out over 5 months)
- DOT Inspections: Two FREE inspections per year; if failed, labor is billed at $90 for approx. 45 minutes
- Equipment Requirements: No max age on trucks, but all equipment must pass UC Group’s internal DOT inspection
- Home Time: Flexible—home weekly positions available with no set requirements
- Plates and Fees: IRP Plate: $2,200 (prorated based on start month, payable over 4 weeks) 2290 Tax: $650 (prorated based on start month, collected upfront)
