Sales Executive

Job description

UC Group is seeking to expand our sales team. We are excited to onboard an Inside Sales Representative in IL HQ office to prospect, help close new business deals and build upon existing client account wallet-share. This role focuses on developing key contacts within their book of business to generate revenue and exceed sales goals.

Your Responsibilities include:

  • Expand the UC Group client base with new business prospecting – both warm-contacts and cold calling, identifying, and developing opportunities through a holistic customercentric sales approach.
  • Use your existing book of business and contacts (if available), within the industry – LTL, truckload, brokerage, consolidation, warehousing, etc.
  • Utilize your sales skills to providing clear innovative solutions to clients, influencing them to utilize UC Group’s best-in-class services.
  • Reach and exceed sales goals by focusing on new business growth opportunities.

To Be Successful You:

  • Can manage priorities and target multiple clients.
  • Like to be working within an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Have outstanding sales skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Prior Inside Sales or Customer Relations Management within the logistics industry.
  • Be results-driven

Your Experience Includes:

  • A minimum of 2 years inside sales or customer relationship management experience within the logistics – LTL, truckload, brokerage, consolidation, supply chain industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • New business prospecting skills that deliver.
  • Collaborating with a team first mentality.
  • Existing book of business / contacts ideal, but not required.
