JOB DESCRIPTION
Managing and overseeing daily operations of the accounting department. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Working closely with Financial Analysis team.
Accounting Manager’s Job Duties:
▪ Managing Month-end closing
▪ Review processes for AP & AR
▪ Oversee and improve other GA processes (FA, bank rec.)
▪ Look for potential efficiencies and synergies
▪ Coordinate preparation of procedure manuals
▪ Implement available technologies/introduce automatizations where possible (e.g., Imaging solutions)
▪ Performance reviews to the team leaders/members of General Accounting Team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
▪ Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
▪ Minimum five years of experience in the field
▪ Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor
▪ Possess strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
▪ Team management and negotiation skills
▪ Sound judgment, excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
▪ Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
▪ Strong computer skills including the ability to learn new applications
▪ Good knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
▪ Ability to manage time efficiently as well as multitask
▪ Must be comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting–must be self-motivated
▪ High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
